v5.7 - latest (2026-09-09)
Welcome to AIVA news for version 5.7. This time, it’s a release with mostly behind-the-scenes work and only a few visible changes.
Better issue reporting
We've reworked how you report specific problems you spot in your tests, like a wrong click or a table that shouldn't have been detected as a table.
When using the “⚠️ Report an issue” button, you can now indicate where AIVA should have clicked and include the screenshot in your report. On our side, the report now includes everything we may need to diagnose and fix the issue, and goes straight to the engineers who can fix it.
It's a small change, but it means your reports now get investigated as soon as possible.
New product home page
AIVA now has a dedicated product page. Until now, if you entered “aiva.works” into your browser, you were just redirected to https://app.aiva.works, which is where AIVA actually runs. Now there’s a proper front door that explains what we do, so it's easy to share AIVA with a colleague or point people to when they ask "wait, what’s AIVA again?"
You will see the new home page when you arrive at https://aiva.works/ when you’re not signed in. If you’re already signed in, you’re still automatically redirected to the app, which still runs at https://app.aiva.works.
Notable Bugfixes
- Fixed wrong image offered when adding an assert step to an existing test.
- Fixed slow loading of images in Issues tab of test result.
- Fixed misreading an icon as text leading to an element localization issue.
- Fixed rare occurrence of click action not being executed.
Coming soon
- MCP server for AIVA: connect your AI agent to AIVA. It will start with running tests and checking results; creating tests will come later.
- Module variables: when you add a module to a test, you'll be able to set its variable values right in that step.
- Workspaces for new users will contain example tests to demonstrate various AIVA features.
