v5.1 - latest (2026-07-01)
Welcome to AIVA news for version 5.1.
Visualization of test execution progress
Waiting for a test to finish used to mean staring at a spinner and hoping for the best. Now, each in-progress step shows a short hint describing what’s actually happening under the hood – so when a step takes longer than expected, you’re not left guessing. You’ll know whether AIVA is waiting for a page to load, retrying an assert, or just taking its time on something complex.
Minor improvements
Some of these are inspired by our recent “first user experience” testing, and some by our marketing and SEO efforts:
- You can now add a label (or labels) to multiple tests selected using checkboxes
- When a test run fails in the authentication module, there is now a button to open the module’s result (previously you had to click the module name, which was not obvious)
- The authentication module now scrolls together with the rest of the steps in a (re-)recording – an improvement for smaller screens or browser windows
- New tutorial presenting a real-life scenario demonstrating the value AIVA can bring to users
- New design of the Pricing and Getting Started pages
- Faster loading and better indexability (technically: the public pages are now server-side rendered)
Coming soon
- Notifications in scheduler
- User choice of how elements in tables are localized (by content, or by position)
- Extract steps from the beginning of the test to authentication module
