v3.5 (2025-11-05)

Welcome to another edition of AIVA news, this time for version 3.5. As we are getting closer to our planned public launch, you will see fewer new big visible features, as our focus temporarily shifts to aspects like optimization, onboarding process, legal information etc. Of course, we do have an endless list of significant features on the roadmap that we will get back to very soon.

In response to initial feedback, Scheduling is now called Batch runner and there are some improvements to the user experience. The scheduling placeholder from batch creation has been removed for now as we plan to implement it no sooner than at the start of 2026. The result of a batch now shows relevant information without opening a section, better error messages and a convenient button to run a batch with the same definition again.

We have made a few improvements based on user testing of AIVA API: the results endpoint now returns a more informative failure message including the failed step number and reasoning (which is also shown in the AIVA user interface), and the API reference is now more discoverable in the documentation.

We have just released the fastest AIVA, ever! We’ve had a deep look into AIVA’s performance, identified a couple of bottlenecks and several opportunities for improvement. Some of those we’ve already taken advantage of, so you should now experience your tests executions being swifter than ever before. How much, you ask? It depends on the test and its structure, of course. Our internal tests of AIVA testing AIVA went down 10 minutes from about 36 minutes to 26 minutes. That’s an improvement of 27 %. More to come...

Most significant bugfixes:

  • Improved accuracy of localization by icon
  • Text typing waits for the text field to load up
  • Variables removed from test are no longer asked for when running it
  • Autoscroll is not preventing the user to scroll up in recorded steps
  • Enabled re-recording of test with hidden values

Coming soon:

  • Replay remaining steps during re-recording
  • User signup – anybody will be able to sign up to get access to AIVA after it is released
  • Feedback/issue reporting directly from AIVA
  • Welcome/landing page

Thank you for your continued support and feedback!
